BELEVE.AI ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Hyphen Health Pty Ltd (ABN 31 651 461 108), an Australian company. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
When you use our service, we collect the following information:
Account and order information: Your email address, which you provide at checkout via our payment processor Stripe. We do not collect your name, phone number, or physical address unless you provide it voluntarily.
Photos you upload: You upload photos from your doorbell camera, security camera, or other device. For birthday orders, you may also upload a photo of a wrapped gift. These photos are used solely to generate your personalised video.
Payment information: All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.
Usage data: We collect basic analytics data including pages visited, browser type, and approximate location (country/region) to improve our service.
Email subscription: If you subscribe to our mailing list, we store your email address to send you product updates and promotional offers.
We use your information to:
Process your order and generate your personalised video. Deliver your video to you via email. Send a follow-up satisfaction survey (NPS email) approximately 24 hours after delivery. Send you marketing communications if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time). Improve our service and fix technical issues.
Photos you upload are stored securely on Cloudflare R2 infrastructure. Your photos are used exclusively for generating your video and are not shared with any third party except our AI video generation provider (fal.ai) for the sole purpose of creating your video. Photos and generated videos associated with paid orders are retained for 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted. Demo/test content is retained for 7 days.
Your uploaded photo is sent to fal.ai, a third-party AI service, to generate your video using the Kling video model. The photo is transmitted as a data URI (not stored on fal.ai's servers beyond the processing period). fal.ai processes your image solely to generate the video and does not retain your data after processing is complete. No facial recognition or biometric data is extracted from your photos.
We use the following third-party services to operate BELEVE.AI:
Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy). Cloudflare — hosting, storage, and content delivery (Cloudflare Privacy Policy). fal.ai — AI video generation. Resend — transactional email delivery (Resend Privacy Policy).
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Photos and videos are stored in encrypted-at-rest cloud storage. Access to customer data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to: Access the personal information we hold about you. Request correction of inaccurate information. Request deletion of your personal information. Opt out of marketing communications at any time. Lodge a complaint with us or with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have breached the APPs.
Our service creates videos intended to be viewed by children, but the service is purchased and operated by adults (parents, guardians, or family members). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The photos uploaded are of outdoor spaces, bedrooms, or wrapped gifts — not of children themselves.
Your data may be processed by third-party services located outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure that overseas recipients of your personal information comply with the APPs or are subject to comparable privacy protections.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above.
